And interesting poll came out on Thursday as a battle brews on the future of online poker in the United States. The poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind, a survey research group, tried to determine American sentiment toward gambling, and part of the polling involved opinions about internet gambling. About two-thirds of the public (67%) “oppose changing the law to permit people to place bets over the Internet,” according to a release of the poll’s findings.
