Christensen Scoops WPT Vienna Title
Christensen, a 27-year-old with just three previous live cashes, turned his online satellite qualification for the WPT Vienna main event into €313,390 with an impressive performance. He took over the chip lead on Day 2 and managed to carry it all the way through to the title, overcoming final table chip leader Ognjen Sekularac and former EPT Berlin champ Ben Wilonfosky over a seven-hour final table. Christensen finished off his win by defeating Konstantin Tolokno heads-up.
Seiver Crushes Cates for Premier League V Title
The tournament came down to a massive all-in coin flip, with a dramatic river card clinching the victory for former WPT and WSOP winner Scott Seiver. It was an all-star lineup at the final table in Vienna, with marquee names like Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius battling for a piece of the $1.4 million final-table prize pool.
