Heidi Montag celebrates the passing of HR 2267 in the House Finance Committee by hitting the beach in a US American bikini. Representative Barney Frank’s proposed bill, H.R. 2267 – the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act , just passed the House Finance Committee by a vote of 41-22. According to the PPA, the bill establishes the licensing and regulatory framework for the U.S. to exercise control and oversight over Internet poker and other forms of Internet gaming

The Inaugural PokerStars Balkan Poker Festival is scheduled for Sept. 2-5, 2010, at the Grand Hotel & Casino International at Golden Sands resort in Bulgaria, near Varna. The €990 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament is expected to draw a total of 200 players from across Europe.

Joseph Cheong joins us hours after making the 2010 November Nine from the Rio in Las Vegas. Many feel that Cheong might be the most dangerous player left in the field, even more so than Michael “ The Grinder ” Mizrachi. Cheong, who goes by the online name “ subiime ” is part of the World Series of Poker Main Event’s final nine players who will resume play in November to crown the world champion. He originally hails from La Mirada, California but went to the University of California at San Diego and got his start in live poker at the local Oceans 11 poker room

Adam 'Roothlus' Levy is still looking good heading into Day 7. Another day in the books at the 2010 WSOP Main Event . Pretty big blood bath of big names early on, as Johnny Chan, Phil ‘OMGClayAiken’ Galfond, Breeze Zuckerman, Fokke Beukers, and Dragan Galic* were all eliminated. However with 78 remaining, Theo Jorgensen holds the chip lead, stacked at 8,450,000
Only Three Tables Remain in WSOP Main Event

Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi is still alive with 5.5 million and battling for a bracelet and potential Player of the Year title. The new chip leader is Joseph Cheong, who has 24.3 million. Also still in the mix are Pascal LeFrancois, Scott Clements and Hasan Habib. Some of the players who saw their title hopes fade on day 7 include John Robert Bellande, Theo Jorgensen, David Benyamine, Bryn Kenney, Alexander Kostritsyn and Tony Dunst. All of the remaining players are guaranteed at least $317k in their quest for the top prize of $8.9 million. Tomorrow will mark the 8th and final day of play for all but nine of the players.
