WSOP High Profile: Jason Dewitt

Jason “JMaster130″ Dewitt seems to have taken that to heart on Day 2b as he’s fought his way into the top 10 chip counts as of the dinner break with over 200k. “I’m feeling really good,” he said. “I’ve only made one mistake over the last two days so if I can just keep that up I can make a very deep run.” Dewitt, originally from Indiana and now residing in Atlanta, made headlines this year when he won the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em event for over $800,000 beating skilled online players like David Benefield, Amit Makhija and Jeff Williams. It was a huge relief for the 26-year-old who had both a second and third place finish in the 2009 WSOP. After snagging the $800k bracelet victory in the middle of the WSOP, Dewitt went 11 tournaments without cashing and felt he needed to change something. “I decided to wear my bracelet and then I went deep and cashed in a tournament,” he said.
