Petersen Outlasts Neuville for EPT Copenhagen Title
Petersen, who’s earned more than $4.6 million online, takes home 2,515,00 DKK ($452,357), his first major live title and by far his biggest live cash. Neuville, known as the Serial EPT Qualifier for his extraordinary record of satellite entries, earns his second career runner-up finish on the EPT and 1,600,000 DKK ($288,569). According to the reports tableside, despite the epic heads-up match it was surprisingly devoid of action.
Weisner Tops Final 72 at EPT Copenhagen
Weisner, who is off to a strong start in 2012 with several deep runs in Aussie Millions events, finished with 368,200 chips, tops amongst the 72 players remaining in the contest. Although Weisner has yet to score a major title, she has shown the ability to build a big stack on numerous occasions including the 2011 WSOPE Main Event where she finished 33rd. Weisner won a 100k pot against Dane Lars Hansen to take the chip lead in the latter part of Day 2.
