Bjorn “Bjoerni89” Schneider Joins Team PokerStars Online
Just announced today, the 22-year-old from Gottingen, Germany, joins Mickey “mement_mori” Petersen as one of the most recent additions to the team. Schneider got his start just a few years ago in nine-man $5 SNGs and was even only playing $100 SNGs at the start of 2011, but he’s rocketed up the stakes in just ten months and now primarily plays $5k heads-up sit-and-gos. Boeree made the money in the Sunday Warm-Up for the last two consecutive weeks and also recorded a minor cash in the Sunday Million so she seemed due for some sort of online victory. Indeed Boeree cashed in this week’s Sunday Million, which saw 6,525 players pay the $215 to play the biggest weekly online tournament in the world.
